YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice

Last updated 16 October 2026

Heartoid Ltd, trading as TekoTo, is responsible for the personal information collected through this UK website and its queue service. Heartoid Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 14102802) at 338a Regents Park Road, Office 3 and 4, London, N3 2LN. For privacy questions or requests, email info@tekoto.com. This address is for correspondence, not a showroom or collection point.

What we collect and why

We use this information to take steps you request before a contract, provide the queue service and fulfil a later contract if one is made; to meet accounting, tax and other legal duties; and, where appropriate, for our legitimate interests in preventing fraud, securing the site and handling support. We do not use a queue payment as consent to marketing. We will ask separately before sending optional marketing messages.

Who receives it

Our website host and database provider processes site and queue data for us. Stripe or PayPal processes payments and refunds under its own privacy information. Google Workspace handles email sent to or from our support address. If you opt into analytics or advertising measurement, Google Analytics or Meta respectively may receive website-visit and event information. Product images may be delivered from external image storage. If you later place an order, we may share only necessary details with the supplier, inspection, customs or delivery partners; we will explain any additional sharing when the order is agreed. The owner-only admin area uses sign-in to restrict access to queue records.

Where information is processed

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where a transfer is restricted under UK data-protection law, we assess and use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism or safeguard. You can request information about the relevant safeguards at info@tekoto.com.

How long we keep it

We keep queue, payment, refund and order records while the relationship is active and afterwards for the period reasonably needed for tax, accounting, legal claims and product-safety responsibilities; this will ordinarily be up to six years after the relationship ends, unless a longer period is required. Uncompleted checkout and short-lived contact-check records are reviewed for earlier deletion once they are no longer needed for troubleshooting or fraud prevention. Browser-stored choices can be removed by clearing this site's browser storage; the temporary contact-check cookie expires after 30 minutes.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw any separate marketing consent at any time. Email info@tekoto.com; we may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

A queue number is allocated automatically after verified payment, but batch invitations, later order decisions and requested refunds are handled by a person. We do not currently use your data for solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses browser storage to retain your setup and your place in the checkout flow. An essential, short-lived cookie links your matching-email check to checkout. The restricted admin area uses sign-in cookies. These support the service and security. A separate browser setting records your cookie choice.

Google Analytics 4, if you allow analytics, measures page views and journey events such as viewing the van check, setup and checkout. How Google uses information from sites using its services explains Google’s processing. Meta Pixel, if you allow advertising measurement, measures similar events for advertising reports. For a completed £99 payment, Meta Conversions API may also receive a purchase event if you accepted advertising measurement. Your email is converted to a one-way hash before sending it to Meta for event matching; the event includes your browser’s user-agent and a shared ID so the browser and server reports can be deduplicated. We do not load these optional tools or send their events before the corresponding permission. Neither queue payment nor email entry counts as permission for these tools.

You may select “Reject optional”, “Analytics only”, or “Accept analytics & ads” in the cookie banner. You can reopen that choice at any time using . You can also remove saved choices and optional cookies in your browser. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent you using the site or paying the queue fee.

We may update this notice as the service changes. The date above shows the current version. For questions, email info@tekoto.com.
